What it actually is
Dry needling uses fine, sterile needles placed into selected muscular areas. It is different from acupuncture: the choice of area is based on your movement assessment and the tension being addressed.
It is one option within a broader remedial treatment, not a standalone answer for every issue. Will may combine it with hands-on massage and movement-based techniques when that approach suits your needs.
The aim is to reduce muscular tension and support circulation and recovery, helping you move with less restriction.
How it feels
- A brief pinprick as the fine needle enters
- A short twitch or dull ache in the targeted muscle
- Pressure that is adjusted to your comfort throughout
- Possible mild tenderness after treatment
Inside the session
- 01

- 03

Fine, sterile needles are used briefly in targeted muscular areas, alongside other techniques as needed.
- 04
